Calvary Chapel Christian K-5 Elementary School of Spokane
We offer a Washington State Approved private K-5 christian elementary school for the Spokane area, providing curriculum based on a christian perspective of education. We feel it is important to integrate scriptural principles into each area of subject matter. It is our goal to teach our students the basic knowledge necessary for functioning in today’s world. The methods and materials used by our Christian K-5 Elementary School of Spokane are scripturally based and give the teacher a clear plan for teaching scripturally sound principles throughout the day.
We believe God is not only interested in the academic goals themselves but, also, in the ways by which we reach these goals. We believe in the importance of living the Christian life and being a godly example to our students. Our methods should pattern themselves after our Lord, which include: encouraging, training, disciplining, reproofing, correcting, and exhorting. We have curricula which is most suitable in reaching our goals of excellence in academics with a strong Christian foundation.
Our textbooks are chosen after prayerful consideration and evaluation and will be provided for all students. Non-consumable texts are rented by the parents. New books must be purchased (by the parents) in the event that a student has had his/her book(s) damaged, lost or stolen.
Parental partnership takes a key role
The success of our ministry to the students entrusted to Calvary Chapel Christian K-5 Elementary School of Spokane depends in large part on the success of our partnership with the parents. We believe that it is vitally important that we, the school and the parents, are of one mind, united in spirit and purpose. Based upon the Mission Statement, Philosophy of Christian Education, and the Statement of Faith outlining key doctrinal issues, shown above, we believe it is imperative for you to both understand and be in agreement with us on these areas:
- Parents must be publicly and privately supportive of our student discipline policies and procedures;
- Parents must be knowledgeable and supportive of our philosophical views pertaining to education and the policies and procedures utilized in the operation of our school; and
- Parents must understand that all students enrolled in Calvary Chapel Christian School will receive biblical training in accordance with the Statement of Faith. Parents must authorize the school to teach their children these truths in any on campus elective and agree to support Calvary Chapel Christian School staff to the best of their ability.
Volunteer participation program saves 10%
Parents participating in the Volunteer Program receive a 10% discount on their tuition. This program requires a commitment of 5 hours per month per student for 10 months. A maximum of 10 hours per month will be required of families with 2 or more students attending CCCS. Anyone not choosing to participate in this program will be required to pay full tuition. Anyone who has agreed to the Volunteer Program but does not complete their volunteer hours on a monthly basis will be charged the number of missing hours at a rate of $10.00 per hour and will be billed on a quarterly basis.
The school hours are 8:45am to 3:15pm.

Registration Fee :
$200.00 prior to June 1st, $250, after June 1st
$150.00 prior to June 1st, $200, after June 1st for returning students
Annual Tuition Fees:
1st Student = $3750.00 ($340.91 month)
2nd Student = $3000.00 ($272.73 per month)
3rd Student = $2812.50 ($255.68 per month)
Annual Tuition Fees with Volunteer Program :
1st Student = $3375.00 ($306.82 per month)
2nd Student = $2700.00 ($245.45 per month)
Incompletion of Volunteer Program Hours:
$10.00 per hour billed quarterly
Before and After School Care:
$5.00 per hour. Maximum charge for multiple children in After School Care is $10.00 per
hour. Hours for care are 7:30am to 5:30pm.
Returned Checks:
$25 service charge on returned checks.
Late Fees:
$25.00 fee if not paid by 10 day of the month
